Week 1 (July 16-21) and Week 2 (July 23-28) are fully booked! Those still interested in joining us during these two weeks are welcome to apply for our waiting list, in the event that a cancellation makes a space available.

Please fill out the form below to register to dig this summer with a world class team of international scholars, students, and adventurers from around the globe.

Registration to join the 2018 July-August season is available November 1st 2017 until July 6th 2018.

Volunteers are welcome to choose when they would like to join us. Due to the nature of the excavation, the minimum period of stay is two weeks. You can elect to participate for all four weeks of the season, or you may select individual weeks in which to participate.

  • Price Per Week: 2,500 shekel

Volunteers that excavate with us for the entire four week season will get a discounted price of 9700 NIS

Following registration and confirmation from the Azekah team, volunteers who receive their invoice are able to pay for their registration by way of credit card, bank transfer, or cheque. Please keep in mind that the cost of bank transfer fee is separate to the total payable invoiced amount. 

Cancellation Policy

In preparation for the July-August season, the excavation organises accommodation, catering and transport. Late cancellations drastically impact these arraignments. As a result, cancellations after March 15th will charge a cancellation fee and refund the remaining payment.

Registration to join the 2016 July-August season is available from November 1, 2015 until May 31, 2016.

A full refund minus $50 USD registration and banking fee, will be provided to any cancellations that are lodged before March 15th.

Alternatively, cancellations after March 15, 2016 will incur a cancellation fee.

Cancellation from March 15 to May 30: A full refund, minus a $100 cancellation fee for each week.

Cancellation from June 1 to June 30:  $200 cancellation fee for each week, plus $50 USD registration and banking fee.

Cancellation after July 1 until the beginning of the dig: A full refund, minus a $300 cancellation fee for each week, and a $50 USD registration and banking fee.

Cancellation during the season or without announcement: no refund.

We highly recommend completing a travel cancellation insurance that is covering all the costs!

After registering, you will view a confirmation of your registration on this page. Please print out your registration information for your records.

Your registration information will have been sent to the Azekah administration. You should expect to receive an email from an Azekah administrator within a week. If you do not receive a follow up confirmation from us, please contact us directly at azekah.excavations@gmail.com
